1 General terms and conditions.Skip to section 1.1
1.1 Hourly rate.Skip to section 1.2
For services not listed on our website, our hourly rate is £25.00.
Please note that most of our services cannot be performed in the customer's premises.
1.2 Pick up and delivery of computer systems.Skip to section 1.3
It is up to the customer to arrange delivery and pickup of their computer system to/from our office. We do not provide this service.
1.3 Windows reinstalls.Skip to section 1.3.1
When ordering our Windows Reinstallation service, you must provide either your original Microsoft Windows disc or a backup copy of this disc plus any activation codes that came with said disc (i.e. your 25 digit activation key found on the CD/DVD packaging or a sticker on the PCs casing).
1.3.1 Driver discs.Skip to section 1.3.2
If for any reason you cannot supply us with driver disc/s for the hardware in your PC we will try our best to supply the correct drivers but cannot guarantee that we will be able to obtain said drivers, this may result in your system not having sound, full graphics capability etc... It is the responsibility of the customer to source replacement discs if we cannot find an alternative.
1.3.2 Lost Windows CD/DVD.Skip to section 1.4
In the event that you cannot supply us your Windows CD/DVD we may be able to use our own CD/DVD but you must be able to provide your 25 digit activaton key.
1.4 Condition of items sent for servicing.Skip to section 1.5
All items/systems must be fully functional, except in the case of virus infection. If an item/system is found to be faulty we will return said item and charge an administration fee of £10.
1.5 Refunds.Skip to section 1.6
All refunds given will exclude any Items purchased on your behalf and any postage costs we may incur.
1.6 Invoices & V•A•T.Skip to section 1.7
As we do not have to be V•A•T registered, you will not be charged V•A•T on any of our services, we cannot supply V•A•T invoices.
To be a green as possible we do not supply paper invoices, we will email your invoice to you in a PDF file that is readable on any brand of PC with additional software.
1.7 Backing up data.Skip to section 2
It is the responsibility of you, the client, to ensure that
ALL important data is backed up prior to submitting a computer/Hard Disc Drive for one of our services, as some of services require that your computers hard disc be reformatted (Wiped clean) i.e. Windows Reinstall.
2 Disclaimers.
Annie Brion Computer Diagnostics europe will not be liable for any economic losses (including, without limitation, loss of revenues, loss of data, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings), any loss of goodwill or reputation, or any special, indirect or consequential damages (however arising, including negligence) arising out of or in connection with this Agreement.
We cannot guarantee that any work carried out on your system will not cause a loss of data, we do however try our best to prevent any data loss.
